Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown is a great experience with an all new episode, and a couple of cool new monsters, too.

The game has different controller configurations, but it takes a little while to get used to the controls. One very good feature about the game is that you can save the game anywhere you want, just like in the pc version. It can take from 4-7 blocks on a ps1 memory card, depending on how big the level you're on is. The game also has a quicksave function, which is quicker, but the quicksave slot is erased if you save/load another file, or turn off the ps1/ps2. The game has all of the weapons from the pc version of Duke 3D, and it has the inventory items too. The controls for changing items can be difficult to use, though, especially if you're under fire and need to switch quickly. The game also has the classic Duke speech lines, and Duke sounds great!
This game is very similar to the pc version, but has many extra cool extras, too. Even gamers who have played the pc version should definately still get this game. It's an excellent version of Duke 3D with exclusive playstation levels and monsters.
