If this game had more elements other than combat, and if it was more free-roaming rather than side scrolling, plus more suiting music than this could have been a real diamond in the rough.
Bought this game right when it came out and still loving it.
I don't normally care what other sites review, but the guy over at IGN liked it enough to give it an 8.

2 Like WTF is wrong with you people. PETA? What PETA has to do with anything. ANimal cruelty is a man agains animal. Animal vs animal is just a cycle of life. Unless PETA also frowns upon lions hunting zebras...
Also, keep a healthy distance guys. It's a game, all crazy ideas are good. Better than making same game (new CoD) every year.
@MaxiM_ Once had a discussion with a vegan chick about that topic. Pretty lightheaded girl, might've been the malnutrition, and she really suggested to "train" carnivore animals to become vegan xD I still wait for PeTA to pick this idea up ....
Great review but this is one of the few games that has local co-op and I can play it with my friends and brothers. Can't wait until they upload it on PSN.
Carolyn, who did you offend at Gamespot to have to review this ridiculous game? Next time, see if they will offer a more tolerable punishment like cleaning the bathrooms or eating soap. In any case, thanks for taking one for team so that we all know this is as awful as we thought it would be!

i think this games looks piss poor anyway.... but i have to comment....in a world over run by wild animals.... who sheers the sheep, becuase they look pretty fresh in this clip! :P
it looks silly, a caniche against a tiger...a rabbit against a grizzly...I'm kind of against animal cruelty, I wouldn't enjoy playing this game. The graphics look ok but the environment is crappy.This is not a surprise it got a 5

lol what the hellz. stealth animal action? sounds like fun if the mechanics didn't look half arsed and boring as hell..
It was that bad? I mean in our beloved videogame world, trying new ideas often brings you a bunch of savage animals ready to eat you alive. But you have to make the effort anyway since new ideas is what makes the videogame world a constantly stream of emotions. Althrough I agree this one was not exactly a brilliant idea
How do people make these games and get them comissioned, who would want to play it anyway, just some crazy person that likes bloodlust and cant do it in the real world.

It's nice to see somebody take a chance on something new. I hope it sells enough on it's uniqueness to spark a properly funded and produced sequel.
