Racing/Driving Gamers Should Not Be Caught Without This

TOCA Race Driver 3 is a fantastic racing game developed by Codemasters that incorporates many types of racing such as sprint cars, monster trucks, muscle cars, hatchbacks, baja racing, go karts, vintage racers, and more. There's so much racing in this game, that there's 2 distinct career modes (one where you're beating 32 tiers with 1-4 events for each separate tier and the second where you're beating races on easy and hard difficulties, in addition to getting the best times for a particular race course.) that will keep you busy for quite some time. You'll also be getting some interesting tidbits from Rick, a cheeky Scottish racing manager who serves as your mentor as you progress through the game, via cutscenes before or after certain races. You'll also hear him over the PA on the tier races giving you encouragement or even notifying you on penalties (i.e: going off the track and gaining an advantage) or if there's caution on the roads ahead. Some of the rally races are a point-to-point run with a GPS informing you of all the turns and when to brake and how to tackle a turn. Overall, TOCA Race Driver 3 is a fantastic, underappreciated racer that got lost in the shadows of Gran Turismo 4, Project Gotham Racing 3, and Forza Motorsport 1. No racing gamer should be caught without it and it's got tons of content that will keep you busy for quite a while.
