TOCA Race Driver 3 Challenge

I am consistently impressed by the standard of releases in the TOCA series which has continuously evolved, improved and expanded with each new game (PS1 & PS2).

This latest incarnation offers the widest selection of vehicles and tracks to date. The difficulty curve is just right with the earlier championships offering just as much enjoyment as the later 'endurance' type events.

I can't understand how people continuously rate the Gran Turismo series above games in the TOCA series. Given that TOCA boasts 20-car races, full damage modelling, race flags, driving penalties etc. It surely is much more of a "driving" and "racing" simulator than the "pretty to look at" but ultimately lightweight Gran Turismo series has ever been.
