This game is a pretty entertaining action RPG. Rather than reminding me of the king ARPG Diablo II, it seems to be more similar to Torchlight (though, of course, Torchlight came out later), both in how cartoony it is and in the people you talk to. The skill tree is inventive; you can use your skill points to either boost your abilities in an entire school or upgrade an individual spell in that school.

Pros

- It's a hack-n-slash! I love those. :P

- Pretty original skill and mastery system with 9 different specializations to choose from.

- I love that long, black, bobbing ponytail my girl has. :3

- There are both main quests and optional side quests; the game is linear, but not overly.

- There are side areas that can be explored or not, entirely up to you. They give pretty decent loot.

Neutral

- Emulates Greece. Borrows the country's terrain and names for people.

Cons

- Loot takes far too long to drop, especially from chests, where it can take multiple seconds for the loot to finish its dropping animation and be ready to be picked up.

- Attacking, at the beginning of the game, is extremely slow. Staves and bows take an agonizing amount of time to land hits on opponents, and this takes away from how fast-paced the game feels. Perhaps this will get better in later levels, but the attack speed I've seen so far is abysmal; it almost feels like lagging, but purposeful.

- Enemies' levels vary like crazy. At level 10, you'll find creatures anywhere from levels 4 - 16. This is bad because you get hardly any experience for anything more than a few levels below your own. Why are level 9 boars so much stronger than level 15 anything-elses, and why am I still seeing level 2's at level 16?! Because of this, leveling is very slow.

- The interface feels a bit crowded, unprofessional, and bulky, and the font the game uses could be better since it's a bit pixelated.

- I'm playing normal difficulty, the easiest, and it seems you must grind a fair bit even outside side quests to reach a comfortable level for each area.

- The aiming mechanism sometimes doesn't work: you can sometimes be aiming at an enemy and somehow hit way off to their side.

- My wolves do a terrible job at taking aggro off of me. This should not be the case.

- Conversations with non-quest NPCs often reset every time you open the game or revisit an area, causing them to re-greet you. This isn't a huge issue, but it makes the gaming experience less engrossing.

- The starting tunic colors to choose between are boring and desaturated.

Pretty good game overall otherwise, with decent graphics and addicting gameplay - though not quite as addicting as that of Diablo II, the hack-and-slash champion.
