Another wannabe, just this one stand out from teh crowd, IN A BAD WAY!

User Rating: 3.5 | Titan Quest: Immortal Throne PC
This game is obviously trying to be close to the undefeated game Diablo 2. I can't imagine the creators even IMAGINING it will be as good as D2 because it is clearly not as good.

I played this game for a while and the $50 the expansion was, nowhere near to being money-well-spent. The graphics are unarguably better than D2, but at the same time, the genre is pretty laughable, as they seem to have reached a point where they don't want to be TOO much like D2. IT is definitely not "dark" enough and in some of the worlds it seems like a place a fairy-tale could have been would think of as too cheerful only in this expansion do they near Diablo's darkness and mysteriousness. D2, for those who have played, managed to make the scenery better than TQ's even in a bright place like their desert, which has that evilness to it that even the home of Hede's couldn't achieve.

This game is certainly not a game you can replay after beating it once, and certainly not a game you would regret stopping in the middle. When I am EXTREMELY bored, and I mean EXTREMELY(!!!) I try, sometimes, to go back to this, but as hard as I try, I can't force myself to do it and i just go sit down and listen to some music - a much more enjoyable experience.

The multiplayer can be fun - and was fun when mostly because I had acquired some extremely rare and powerful items, and, classic me, likes helping people, I went ahead and trusted everyone and did teh 3 second copyswap. This got boring after a while (10 hours).

This game was also fun when I had my "cheat weapon". This made the game fun not because of how easy it made it, but because of how laughable the glitches it made (like the stretching of a body across half teh screen).

This is the most repetitive game i have played since Assassin's Creed, and this only got a higher rating because RPG's are my favorite genre.

To me, this game could have only been worse if they made you a butterfly and made the game a pixelated FPRPG.

If you are considering buying this, DON'T!!!!

THQ's first game is a failure and they have now resorted to practically being exclusively a company that makes games about movies, made for 7-10 year olds, with the same sort of graphics genre of this game.
