This is a fun and cute iOS game that I think might become the new Angry Birds if they make an update with checkpoints.

Tiny Wings is an amazing game. Once you learn how to play the right way, you will become hooked because it is so fun and addicting, and you will think it is as good as, better than, or the new Angry Birds. It takes some time to get the hang of how the mechanics work because this game has a high learning curve. At first you are like um, so...what am I supposed to do here now? I don't get it. But you will in ten minutes. You slide up the top of a hill to gain acceleration and speed. After about two hills, you will fly high in the sky, and then fall back down again and you must slide down into the bottom of the hill, not the top, to fly up into the air again and then back down, so on and so forth. The simplicity of it makes it a total blast. There is physics behind the hill sliding because that is what makes you fly. It's all about timing, momentum, accuracy, and speed.

The best part of it is, the background colors of the hills change in every level every day you play. So there is something new to see every day you play. There are twenty five levels, but there is endless replay value because every day, it will feel like there are another twenty five levels, making it fifty levels, and so on and so forth continuing in the same pattern.

As much as I love the game, once I get to island six, the game is too hard and it seems impossible to get past. I still have not. The hills are too steep and narrow that you will easily crash into it and lose track of the timing, accuracy, and momentum of it. Not only that, but the sun also sets way too fast and night comes way too fast. And as soon as it does, THE END. Back to island 1 you go. It will require practice, skill, and determination to finally beat. Perhaps too much of it. So now every day I play, I can never get past island 6. So thank god the hill colors change every day.

They said that in this latest update, they made island 6 "easier." I can't imagine how hard island 6 was before. It sounds to me like it was literally impossible, but I know that's not true. So ya, I don't know. As soon as you lose, you have to restart all over again from island 1. This makes the game less enjoyable and more frustrating and repetitive. With changing background hill colors, restarting the game is ridiculous and unacceptable. They should make an update where there is a checkpoint after each level where you can continue if you lose. If the hill colors were the same and you can only play once, then I can understand that they make you start from island 1 again. But since you can play a new game that feels like more levels every day making the game endless because of changing hill colors, it would make sense to add a checkpoint after every level.

It also says Openfient and Game Center enabled, but they are not and the option for the Openfient feature does not show up upon reaching the title screen of the game. Game Center still stays welcome back, but you can't open the leaderboards. They also need to fix that as well in the next update. Once they do that and add checkpoints after every level, it will receive the perfect 10 from me, a valued iOS customer. Overall, this is a fun and cute casual game for your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad. and if you like the casual genre, go purchase it right now. You won't regret it.
