Timesplitters reaches a brilliant end. For now... bring on TS4!!!

Captain Cortez, the protagonist in this game, is a pretty loveable character to be honest.
You really get to know him, and his advisor, Anya, throughout the game.
The stroy, is of course one of the main draws to this game, and it is an expansive, amazing story.
It starts off with Cortez having crash landed on some planet that looks imilar to what Mars might seem like.
This level is kind of like a tutorial, and the story progresses from there, taking you to all sorts of places along the way. You wind up in Scotland with an old man, on a train with a Hippy and in a futuristic base with a woman with a tight lycra combat suit thing (;)).
The whole story is brilliant and finishes off with the Time Crystals being taken off of Crowe (the old bast**d behind the whole story) and safely put away, anding any crisis before there truly was one.
However, where this game really shines in the multiplayer.
May i pose to you a question? In what other game can you play as a Monkey in a ninja suit wielding twin shotguns?
I thank you.
With friends or online, the sheer variety of modes, weapons, characters, maps.... *nostalgic sigh*
Virus mode on the subway map with a friend battleing together to avoid catching it is one of my favourite gaming experiences, and trualy made the game awesoem for me just before i bought it.
There is plenty to do, as well. There are tons of minigames to do that are to do with the story called Challenges, and getting medals (bronze, silver, gold and platinum) unlocks new characters to play in multiplayer.
Just another reason you didnt need to play some more.
Oh, and one of those mini games is racing a stuffed cat. Case rested.
It has to be one of the all-time greats on PS2, along with one other game that comes to mind... Timespltters 2. Funny, that. It's called "perfect" for a reason, you know. . .
