Awesome game, first time playing Timesplitters, an instant classic.

I must admit I had never even heard of Timesplitters before I picked up this game by chance, and I am so glad I did get it. Even though it is not real revolutionary it was an awesome and fun experience for me. My favorite part was the characters, there are so many of them! My favorites had to be the monkeys, and the variations of the monkeys (ninja monkeys for example). The storyline was entertaining and it was pretty engrossing, and the Scotland and Cold War levels were by far the best and had some of the best humor. It doesn't take long at all to learn how to play this game because it stays true most of the time to the traditional FPS format. If I have one criticism of this game is its sticking to the format and not being that innovative or bringing a lot of new things to the table. Overall a great classic that is well outdated by now but is still awesome and if you haven't played it play it NOW!
