Good in short spurts

definately the best timesplitters so far. The weapons are the highlight for me with a lot of loud satisfying guns and explosives. The character list which sits at 150 is a mixed bag of cool new characters mixed with mostly lame returning ones. It's a good thing that the main character in Story mode is also the coolest. the soundtrack and general audio is well suited to the arcadey shooter gameplay. the minigames are plentiful and fun, and the Story mode is light hearted and enjoyable. I can't comment on the internet play as i haven't tried it. I recommend timesplitters 3 to gamers who like a satisfying arcadey console shooter in the style of Serious Sam. Not a lot of depth here but a lot of wicked weapons and goofy fun. On the downside The rocket launcher is awkward and slow loading, many of the characters are plain stupid looking and some of the challenges are too repeditive to be fun (avec le Brick?) But all other aspects of the game make up for these imperfections. Go buy it.
