TimeSplitters 2 User Review
Once you get past the control scheme, its actually a hilariously fun game

- Difficulty:
- Just Right
- Time Spent:
- 20 to 40 Hours
- The Bottom Line:
- "Innovative"
THE GOOD:
Vast array of multi-player modes, although not online compatible, still tons of fun for split-screen/system link. Flame tag is VERY fun.
The ability to play splitscreen modes in single player, and the ability to input AI bots and tweak their skill level
Insane level variety, from jungle themes to wild west, to cold war era Russia, this game has it all.
Easy to use Level creator, very innovative for its time.
Huge amount of weapons and their effects, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, etc.
The campaign isn't incredibly hard, but it is hard enough to be fun but still not so frustrating that you end up quitting,
The soundtrack and the sound effects are top-notch, unbeaten by most games to date.
THE BAD:
To those not used to the Goldeneye-style aiming, and prefer aiming with more control, like that of Halo, the aiming in TS2 can be very hard to get used to.
No Online, even though as of April 16, 2010, all Original xbox games are no longer playable on XBL.
Graphics can get a little hard on the eyes, really plain textures and lots of familiar looking walls. Just remember this game is supposed to be cartoony, not realistic.
Animations are nothing special, enemies tend to die the exact same way depending on what character they are, the only exception seems to be xzombies, whose heads sometimes pop off.
Overall: i give it a 9, because even for its minor shortcomings, it is an insanely fun game.
