For once, I don't agree with you, Gamespot.

User Rating: 7.2 | TimeSplitters 2 GC
The Good:
-The only good thing about the gameplay is that you can do it with friends. Alone, it's just boring.
-There are plenty of game modes in multiplayer, many of which are actually pretty good.
-The story mode does a good job with conveying how weaponry changes over time, and each level feels how it should. If the level takes place in 1850, it looks like 1850. If it's 2300, it looks like 2300.

The Bad:
-Where's the aiming system??? Yeah, I can hold down the left trigger button to bring up the crosshairs, but the fact that I need to hold the right analog stick in the perfect position to fire makes it overly difficult and annoying. Is it more realistic? Yes. Is it better? Not so much.
-The story mode doesn't have much of a story. Before each level, it debriefs you on the situation, but none of them tie together or make sense in the end.
-I have never said that a game had a "poor menu layout," but that's what I think about this game.
-The cartoon-like graphics kill the mood of the game. Sorry, but shouldn't a game where people die be serious?
-The voice acting has its moments, but otherwise it's just corny and stupid.
-Many of the guns don't sound impressive.
-Multiplayer maps are undetailed and dull.

I expected to be blown away by this game, and I was certainly not impressed. I'm a little frustrated becase I only got it because of Gamespot's review, and since my ratings are usually on par with Gamespot, I thought I'd like this game.
