Witcher 1 was a new type of role playing game that came out during the existence of other high profile role playing games (like Star wars KOTOR and Jade Empire) which represented good or evil views when playing a hero. But this game changed that definition representing both good and evil views and making ambiguous choices. Now Witcher 2 follows that tradition carefully and wonderfully making sure you don't regret making either choices. But this game is not about choices, its also about fun combat, looting, exploring, engaging story and sex. The story of Witcher 2 is both of personal and political and it keeps you in your seats till you find out what will happen and what will be coming. There is also fun exploration to be made and its fun for finding rare or common items and mainly because of the level of detail which is represented through artistic and gorgeous looking graphics and you will be awe struck for how wonderful it is. The combat is nothing like that of Witcher 1 for it handles like a third person hack slash game with more running and dodging for the combat is hard and challenging but it is still fun nonetheless after defeating your foe. As you level up the combat can be tackled easily(but not that easily) especially in act 2 and act 3. Here leveling is in the form of a four trees each representing Training, Combat, Magic and Alchemy. Oh there is alchemy in which you create portions and bombs which is very useful in combat and story(like cat portion which is used to see dark places and also find trails of blood). You can also craft traps(again useful in combat),armor and weapon through blacksmiths and merchants with enough coin to spend. So I conclude this review saying that once you start playing Witcher 2 you will be lost in its world and even after finishing it you'll want more which will lead to a second and also a third play-through.
