Whilst there are many comments on putting difficulty etc, This game requires time and mastery. I agree its not so much an instant pick up and play but a small amount of perseverance brings a wealth of enjoyment. I currently par or birdie or better on every course i play.

At the first your golfer obviously has very little skill in any given area, but after that little perseverance you quickly gain a reasonable amount of XP and your golfing skills start to take shape, mid skill progression is quite quick but reaching the very top level of skill is challenging.

With skins, stroke play, bingo bango bongo , battle golf and other modes there are no shortage of games to play. Online play is fluid , glitch free with matches starting quickly and glitch free. If you plan on buying a golf game give this one a chance.

  This years edition is a very solid addition to the series, but caddie and HUD issues can slow the pace considerably.
