A lot better than Hot Shots. And that says alot.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 is one of the better golf games on the PSP. A lot more realistic than a certain golf game (coughHot Shots Golf: Open Teecough) and a lot more fun. One thing that is a welcome edition is a meter which judges the power of your swing. Since the analog stick on the PSP is not the best for this series, this is a welcome additon. also, a new mode has came. This new mode is were you take a rookie golfer and beef up his or her skills, and try to win as much tournaments as you can. Along the way, you can buy clubs, watches, shirts, shoes,etc. To add a little more replay value, EA has added mini-games like a shooting gallery were you shoot golf balls at panels of glass and get points for them. Anotherm mini game is where you are using your putting skills and also get points. But since there are only two of them, it can be pretty shallow. But still, there is still the normal modes, like Stroke Play and Skins. The golfer selection is as pretty standard as you can find it, with Tiger Woods being the best. (Oh come, i dont need an explanation, do i?) But still, with the good comes the bad. The putting problems from the consoles and other versions on the PSP STILL havent been fixed. Come on EA, fix it! Also, It can take a while before you get really good to even finish a tournament. All in all, this is a deep golf sim that even rookies will like, but with the putting problems still not adreesed, seasoned veterans will be left wanting more from this game.
