Thrillville seemed like a good game to spend hours playing, and seemed to have a lot of replay value. I wasn't very disappointed.
You start the game with one unlocked park, where you build and improve rides to increase the popularity of the park. 4 others can be unlocked by getting popularity to a certain level.
One of the letdowns of the game is that you can create rides only in specific areas, which can be a pain. Building rollercoasters is fun, except when you're supposed to finish off a track, and there's a wall or a ride in the way. The path you can set for the rollercoaster has a lot of options, which does make it more fun. Sending customers into 5 loops and watching them puke can get old after a while, but is funny while it lasts.
There are a lot of things to consider while building rides, which is both good and bad, as the power supply may limit the stretch of tracks on a rollercoaster.
Talking to people isn't as much fun as it may sound, because most of what you do is tell them pointless, irrelevant facts that have nothing whatsoever to do with the park. The AI do tend to get rude after about 4-5 failed attempts at friendship.
Walking around the park can get tiring after hours of roaming around looking at rides and stalls.
Most of the mini-games are pretty boring, and some of them are absurdly difficult. There is, however, no short supply of them.
I would recommend this game to players who don't mind sitting at a spot for hours trying to get everything right, but action fans will find this game bone-numbing.
Overall, it's a pretty good game, and is worth a try.
