My very first PC game ever!! It was the sole reason I bought my first computer.

I saw an advertisement for the game in my Dad's World War II magazine. At the time, I was playing Sega games on the tv and had never considered the computer as a gaming platform. Being very interested in Military History and Military Aviation in particular, I had to have the game that promised unsurpassed realism. I knew nothing about computers, and didn't know anyone that did and yet I found myself driving to Highland Appliance and promptly purchased my first PC. And my first PC game. And the next day, my first joystick. I was hooked. I liked the fact that I could see my tracers arc through the sky. I liked the fact that I could man the defensive mg's. I liked the fact that I could get promoted and receive medals for my valorous deeds. My memory of playing that game is a little fuzzy now, but I will say that this game opened the floodgates for me and was the first of many many flight sims and many many many PC games that I have played. I owe all that enjoyment to this game. By the way, I owned the PC version of this game but could only find the Amiga version on Gamespot.
