While The World Ends With You lacks good multiplayer, it is still one of the most impressive of the DS games.

At a glance, TWEWY is a tricked out adventure to Tokyo, a adventure to a landmark. But luckily, that isn't entirely what it is. The World Ends With You is far more complex, offering a twisted and imaginative take on what we think of RPGs. The World Ends With You takes place in Tokyo, Japan. Every Anime geek and hardcore nerd's fantasy. And this game is right for both of them. TWEWY pits you as a anti-social boy named Neku, who is, by fate, is caught in the bind of a deadly game. He discovers that this deadly game forces him to be....OMG.....social. In a way. He has to partner up with somebody, or the hybrid shadow animals called Noise, are going to give him the whooping of his life. So he does partner up. At first with a girl. he game is divided into 3 chapters. In chapter 1, Neku teams up with Shiki, his first partner, who is a girl about his age. Chapter 2 pits Neku aside this annoying jerk-face named Joshua. Joshua is very powerful.....I think his powers are psychic or something. Speaking of powers, Shiki's attacks come from her cat doll, named Mr. Mew. And the 3rd and final chapter finds Neku aside this super cool guy named Beat, who you meet in chapter one. Beat was a reaper, but now he has a change of heart, due to the ultimate determination of Neku. The side quests that I do not wish to describe make an ultimate and unforgettable narrative experience.

The World Ends With You has a very unique art design. Every little aspect of the great city is full of such vivid detail, and you probably wouldn't want to blink in those times of great color. The graffiti on the walls is brilliantly designed, once again reminding us of its true beauty. The monsters and villains are mostly made up of tattoo limb systems. For examples, there are tattoos for arms on a bear, tattoo feet on a wolf, and a cobra made of tattoos. The game is extremely high on style, such as the clothes, which are beautifully designed. I only wish those were real. But they are fun to look at, and the visuals are overall spectacular.

The music in TWEWY is amazing. I do not usually like the genre of music that most of the tunes fall under, but........I love them in TWEWY. The tunes grow on you quickly, even if they are a bit too repetitive. I don't care. It is a great soundtrack.

All though TWEWY is brilliant, it lacks 1: Good Online Play and 2: More Items. The multiplayer is extremely limited.....there isn't really any online play to tell you the truth. But there is some pretty crappy multiplayer. I also feel that the items are limited as well. It just needs more of them.

In the end of the day, TWEWY is amazing and an instant classic, but it isn't a perfect game quite yet.
