Better off reading the books & comics

The Game started out very promising, then came those nasty devils in the details. The camera is terrible: there is 3 of them but none can give you a fluid feeling of control (and vision fgs!!). Combat is difficult to control and definitely doesn't feel fluid and becomes very monotonous very fast. Dialogues feel unnatural, robotic and not enough time put in them, just off; overall graphics is nice, but some ppl speak of lip-sync..please! Some NPCs don't even open their mouths! Many game mechanics make the game tedious and makes you feel like you tend more to those mechanics than spend time playing! For instance you can only rest at certain places and campfires (which are easy to find but are unlit during daytime). Fires require a flint so if you don't have one you can go searching or fast-forward time with resting.. oh right you can't do that without a friggin FIRE! In BROAD DAYLIGHT! And leveling up, switching medallion mode and brewing potions is ALSO tied to meditating.. good job! No fast travel system within areas! Great! Will spend tons of time just running around with literally NOTHING happening on the way..just to cash in a quest. I liked all the flavor texts and back story logs but the UI is a little too fancy, packed with everything in one place, while the more important stuff like switching gear doesn't feel fluid yet again (I mean you can sell monster parts to regular inn keepers but not weapons, nooo). While the game is said to be immersive, the gameplay will constantly remind you that it's a game, nothing more. You are better off reading the books & comics than playing this somewhat sad RPG. :(
