It took three tries to get into it, and, many moments when I felt like I should drop it because of wonky movement and combat and a few UI issues, but I persisted and I'm so glad I did. I'm not sure why I was so resistant, but I guess one has to hand themselves over to this game, drop the HUD, and just appreciate the first-rate immersive world-building and masterful storytelling. Like others I appreciated the remarkable side quests, but the main quest line was incredibly engaging intellectually and emotionally, keeping me guessing until the end. What a remarkable achievement in gaming. Hard to believe this morally complex and endlessly rich world exists.
