Witcher 2: Assassins of of Kings is by all means a good game, but that's it, a "good" game. While the combat is fairly unique the target locking can be a hassle sometimes. The graphics are very nice, Everything looks fine, including the character models, which in most games often look rather bad compared to everything else. The voice acting is rather weak and not very believable at some points. The story is interesting but there are large gaps between plot missions due to the fact you have to walk a good 6 miles between each of them, well that's an exaggeration but regardless. If you're not the kind of person who's able to play a game with a boring beginning that lasts 9-10 hours before it gets good, I wouldn't recommend this game for you. Most of the side quests are almost not worth doing unless you need some extra cash or reall y like killing 10 of the same monster for s**** and gig's. Other than that, I had a lot of fun just exploring the cities and listening to the humorous idle chatter from the NPCs. Overall, this game is worth getting if you are patient and enjoy RPGs, but otherwise, you'll have to see for yourself.
