Great visuals and sidekick pet with powers can't undo the ridiculous puzzles which up the difficulty into insanity!

I played the demo before getting the game and quite liked it. After starting the whole shebang it only took about an hour or two playing the game that the weird puzzle-solving trounces any kind of fun you have had steering Sadwick and Spot through The Whispering World.
Sound and visuals are great, which makes the ridiculous solutions to some of the puzzles even more grating, almost ruining gameplay.
The weird (to put it mildly!) ending didn't help boosting my opinion of the game. There are better (read: more fun and interesting) adventures out there to be played. I'd recommend everyone to stay clear of this game unless you have seriously played all other adventure games and don't want to revisit any old classics (like the recently revamped Monkey Island series).
Very short, horrendous difficulty, weird ending. Nuff said.
