As soon as I turned the game on, I felt like I was at home and hadn't missed a beat.

User Rating: 8.3 | The Warriors PSP
The Warriors has made one of the smoothest transitions from console to handheld compared to other sloppy seconds that the psp has been receiving. The first thought that I had before my purchase was the fear that load times would be as bad as MC3 for the psp or that controls wont be as fluid as the ps2.
Luckily all of my fears were unfounded. The load times are better than the ps2 and I did nottruly miss the loss of a second analog. Since the camera controls are similar to other Rockstar Games such as Vice City Stories, I quickly got into the camera controls without a single thought. As far as portable games go, it seems that The Warriors was meant to be a portable game. You can quickly jump in and play a quick intense rumble and it feels real good as if it was originally designed for the psp. On the negative side, the graphics, especially the textures have taken a big hit especially when you get up close to the characters. Also, eventhough there is a camera option, it never gets as close as I would like it so I end up running around far behind my character and not getting to see any detail. After all is said and done, $20 is an unbeatable price for the amount of content that your getting.
