The Warriors is based on the movie that came out in the 70's and Rockstar has been succesful on capturing the whole rugged feel of the movie while a being true to the license. The game puts you in the shoes of the Warriors, a newly formed New York street gang trying to clear ther'ye name because they were acused of killing the leader of New York. You'll be playing each one of the members of the Warriors each with ther'ye own special abilities and the levels tailor for those abilites, if you're controlling the member whose good at tagging then the whole mission is based on tagging,or if you're controlling a member whose more of a brawler then the whole mission will be about beating everybody to a pulp.Rockstar has made a great fighting engine that is simple yet hides some depth underneath the simple interface, you can grab enemies and smack towards the wall or throw towards other enemies whenever you're being sorrounded.Rockstar has been succesful in capturing the whole 70's New York feel, from the music to the people who complain whenever you make noises.The graphics are better compared to Rockstar's game GTA. So overall The Warriors is a perfect game for anyone looking for a good-beat-em up or anyone who just wants to dive into a game and beat some opposing gangs.
