The War Z Video Review

To say that this review was bias, unprofessional and unresearched would almost be an understatement. This review would make me think there is an underlying resolve rather than a true review here. Although I am by no means defending the game. I played the game since open alpha release and played for several months. It was very buggy and still has its issues. Given the release of "alpha/beta" it would be assumed that is the dev's admission to being problems with the game still giving you the option to purchase and play the game in its current state. But given the standard it seems with developers and buggy games being released these days it is not that far off par. As with most games you need to capitalize on certain things to get ahead, such as server hopping and knowing strategic locations of weapons and using tactical maneuvering for starters.  The running around with flashlights and taking longer than average time to kill zombies is not what actual game play is like if you spend more than a few hours playing the game. The PvP aspect of this game is very strong in any populated server. If you do not wish to PvP simply go to an unpopulated server or a private server, on which you can gain weapons/gear to PvP if you wish. As far as "having" to spend money on this game that is simply not true other than the initial purchase. I would like to think of myself withing the top 10% of "legit" competitive PvP players in the game during my time spent there and never spent anything other than initial purchase. And on a final note the most two serious flaws with this game I have seen is the cheating and the immense overshadowing that will occur when DayZ releases. 

As far as personal opinion and a scale of 1-20 1 being the worst game I have ever played and 20 being the best I would give this game an 11

For gamers interested in this genre as an un-bias opinion I would rate this game 9 of 20 downgrading to compensate for the learning curve that this game functions around currently. 

On a side note, I may have to check out another reviewing site, as they gave this game a 2.0  and Proteus (see link) an 8.0... WOW

Wow, this is supposed to be a professional review? "The only way to get a tiny bit of enjoyment out of this game is to log onto a near empty server" He never even covered PvP and Group PvP (the best part) which pretty much makes the review a piece of shit right off the bat. Did the reviewer even use another weapon besides the flashlight? This review is just like any other negative review of this game. The reviewer is terrible at the game, obviously biased and in general it's just a laughably bad review with little coverage. The hate for the devs is so intense that no one wants to hear that it's actually a decent game. The sites are just catering to their fanbase. It's always been like that. If you go and watch/read each negative review you will notice a similar pattern with the things I pointed out above.

It's just another proof positive that metacritic or the blogosphere is by no means always reliable. All I can say is think for yourself. For me, it's the best 15 bucks I ever spent, hands down. Playing with a huge clan and no one can touch us. Hacker problem is being addressed and is better in general. Skill trees are in now. Private servers :D Regular updates and new features. It's only getting better. Don't believe the smear campaign is all I can say, I love this game. I play literally every day and so does everyone in my clan. 

Pretty sad that a bunch of people who never played the game or barely played just sit on the internet and cry and whine about it like little pansies.

I agree with this vid, i have played dayz and warz. I prefer dayz for my own reasons, but regardless of this, here are some facts:

Warz was removed from steam for false advertisement.

Warz copied its EULA from Leauge of Legends, (literally Ctrl C, Ctrl V, edtit some shiz)

Warz sent me an e-mail appologising for poor customer service and execution of the game

they sent this to all people that purchased the game.

Warz has a large percentage of angry hate threads on its forum. Most wanted refunds

Rubbish 'game' that should never have made it to release. A true Alpha state construct. I wouldn't have wasted time even reviewing it, and Steam have received so many complaints it has been removed from their store.

I have to say this is one of the most biased reviews I've ever seen.  The reviewer makes several false/unfair comparisons to Day Z.  Lastly, he's terrible at this game.  You get a lot more out of it if you dont hit zombies in the stomach with a flashlight. 

1. You can't buy guns with real money, purchasing stuff doesn't give anybody a major advantage.

2.  The reviewer is absolutely awful at the game, lacks any common game knowledge, and clearly never gave the game a real chance. 

3.  I have been a gamer my entire life, and this is one of the most fun games I've ever played. I almost put it on the same level as Skyrim, as far as just pure fun and time killing ability.

I have been playing this game for 3 months now, and never gotten even slightly bored with it. Sure, at first the hackers were annoying, but they have almost all been banned at this point, and the GAME IS STILL IN BETA. Reviews like this on a great game make me so upset.

hey Brett, Do me a favor and ACTUALLY play the game how it is supposed to be played before you go down talking it. if you actually went around and found guns your would freaking survive. and another little tip is when getting chased by zombies dont run in a straight line noob. one more thing when u hit zombie in the freaking stomache then of course its gonna take 12 hits to kill the dang thing. hit in the head or find hammer that takes 3 hits to kill it. just because u suck at the game dosent mean its bad. go back to hello kitty island reviewing seems like thats what ur good at mate.

This is a bad review on purpose. I believe you either suck at this game or you made it look bad on purpose. The so called "boring game" you talk about, has kept my attention since it came out. I don't think you deserve the position you occupy.

The writer of this review is obviously mad because he sucks at this game. Maybe if he actually played the game for more than an hour he would actually know something about this game. 

ok so u mad coz u loose gear after death, WELL IT IS FREAKING SURVIVAL ISNT IT? what would be the point to start with some powerfull wepz, it is SURVIVAL, u are easy to die coz u need to watch out coz IT IS SURVIVAL ,players killing orthers is the players fault not the game fault , but it is APOCALYPSE so u need to WATCH YOUR SELF and game is now UPDATED very often , i recomend looking at the forums to see what they gonan introduce in new patch, unless u are too mad to read about uptades, considering how miserable was this review. 

It appears to me after watching this review that the developer had the idea of: lets create a basic platform that requires little or no effort to produce, then make micro transactions the main attraction, after players realize that without it the game is unplayable. And lets face it, their is plenty of idiots out there that will part with £££'s for the sake of an advantage in a game, just for the feeling of being superior.

I think some people are playing this game as it was a Call of Duty kind of action shooter. I know its bugged, the animations are horrible and the overall mechanics looks worse than a game reelased 10 years ago. But the point is: it's a SURVIVAL game, NOT a shooter; zombies are lame? Yes. The other players kill you too frequently? Yes. It's basicaly the same game as DayZ. "Oh look, it's better because it's a mod!" C'mon... What about trying to just survive? Grab a couple of beverages and some food, hide inside a shack and try to stay alive as many time as you can, instead of looking for a minigun to shoot everything on sight. Oh, does it sound too boring? Sorry kid, get back to your everyday "pew-pew" game.

why REview a game thats not finished? this should be a preview, and still you shouldnt judge it, coz again... not finished. you could say "dont buy the alpha version, but we will follow up on the game in the future"

Reviewer should be fired for blatantly lying in a review. Reviewers shouldn't show their prejudice.

I also love how he constantly crouches and turns away from the zombies chasing him, only to complain about how often you die.
No ****, if you ignore the guy shooting you in CoD, you're going to die as well.

People, try this game out for yourself, Day Z devs and trolls on Reddit have ruined this game's reputation, and not even Gamespot's reviewers are giving it an honest shake.
