Doesn't deserve the bashing it's gotten.
I didn't care to worry about all the reviews which were trashing the game saying the graphics were bad and game-play horrible.
What it is, is a video game which is a great little time waster and I'm sure some fans of the series will appreciate like myself.
Yes the graphics could be a little better, but hell, it's not Halo or Call of Duty or anything of that nature where you'd expect the superb graphics but does it affect the overall game. No.
The game-play is what you'd expect from a first person game of this nature. A lot of melee type attacks, but you can make use of various things (bottles to distract, hammers, knives etc) as well as guns. Stealth/Distraction works too.
The levels are usually straight forward, but they have side missions associated with them which add to the game-play and allow you to explore some of the maps more. There's a lot of taking your time and sneaking around to avoid/execute the zombies as you make your way through the game.
Overall I think it's just what it's supposed to be, a great little time waster. After all it is only a video game. And that's what they're supposed to do.
