The episode Season 2 needed so badly.

User Rating: 9 | The Walking Dead: Season Two Episode 4 - Amid the Ruins PS3

So the episode starts the way it did after episode three, if you decided to cut Saritas arm off she is eaten by the zombies but if you dont she will end up dying later. This episode starts just like the title says it does, Amid the ruins after getting through Carvers camp, The group is trying to cope with what just happened and while they did make it out alive they are still hurting after Sarita is dead or going to die, and after the death of Carlos, They don't Know where Luke Sarah and Nick are and Rebecca looks like she could have that baby at anytime. Clementines first thing she is going to have to take care of in the story is to go find Luke, Sarah, and Nick Jane goes, with her and you learn through out most of the episode that she is going to be one of the main characters in the group. They find a dead walker on Sarah's glasses while this dosen't look good it dosen't mean she is neccesarily dead, this is when they hear something going on in a motor home ahead of them walkers are at the door and something is going on so the go over to find out, as they look for an opening in the gate they see nick caught in the fence, only it's not really nick because he has turned into a walker, We knew this was going to happen since he could die in episode two, but it's still sad to see him go, and not only that but Clementine has to kill him so it's kind of sad. As Clementine and Jane get closer to the trailer park they can hear a mans voice which they figure out is Luke's so they decide to lay a dead walker on the horn of a car so they can get the group of walkers attention to get in the motorhome. After they have done so the meet up with Luke who says that there is a problem with Sarah, everybody who is playing will think that she is bitten, but thats not true she is just frozen and lost due to the death of her father. The walkers start breaking in and your first choice will come up you either snap Sarah out of it or leave her their to make sure nobody gets hurt This really should be a no brainer decision but since there is a chance of somebody else dying in this choice I wouldn't be shocked if some people decided to leave her behind, but I hope most of you chose to snap her out of it because even though she is super annoying she still dosen't deserve that fate, and thats the reason I chose that choice. After this you return to the camp Rebecca is getting closer and closer to having the baby, they ask Kenny for help since he has dealed with this before and after being angry about the whole Sarita thing he agrees to help. After this Clementine must help look for an area for Rebecca to have the baby, Jane and her find a garage on a second floor building, as they are searching for supplies. However during this time they see someone coming up Jane says they should ambush him just in case, they do and find out that he has a ton of medical supplies that would probably last months for the group if they took them, this is the second big choice of the episode, do you take them or leave them, neither has a consequence and leads up to the same thing no matter what which is a bit dissapointing, but it is still a hard choice, I chose to not take them because it's just not the right thing to do, and not only that but what if his group had come after us if we chose to take them. After this you help Bonnie and Mike with some things, you are able to see two gallons of water, you have a choice to make you can thrash down the door taking a chance of something hearing you or crawl through the tight window it dosen't matter what choice you choose but if you choose to crawl in which I did you will almost get attacked by a walker and if you don't Bonnie will get attacked, not much of a choice but it's not terrible. As time goes on Rebeccas screaming when she is about to give birth attracts walkers the group moves up to the garage they found to see Jane and Luke doing well you know... the deed... and not doing what they were supposed which was obviously looking out for walkers. They tell Rebecca to lay down and Kenny takes care of her while the others fight off the walkers. Their our so many walkers climbing up that they only have one chance of knocking them off by cutting the bridge to this place down, they do so and Jane and Sarah fall Jane is able to get back up but Sarah on the other hand has wood collapsed on her, you can tell Jane to help her or not but the same result will happen Sarah will end up getting eaten either way, I'll be honest I was a bit disapointed with this part because this happened to quickly the story is trying to convince you that Sarah isn't going to make it but instead of going further into this they kill her off in her second altercation which is a bit dissapointing, After this Rebecca has the baby and your next decision comes up you can either hold the baby or decide against it, lets be honest who would not hold the baby again a bit of a dissapointment on the decision. The group has a big decision of where they should go next and Kenny gives Clementine the decision of going right away or waiting a couple days this is not a big decision nor will the decision impact anything, after the group leaves they see Arvo(the guy who had the meds) with his group they both threaten each other and guns are raised towards eachother this is where your final decision of the episode comes into play, you notice that somehow Rebecca has died and is turning and not only that she has the baby, you can either shoot Rebecca or shout to the group to help either way Rebecca will die by either Clementines hand or Kennys and a gun fight will erupt after this, the decisions has no consequence, but is a hard decision to make nonetheless.

Overall This episode didn't have the greatest decisions most of them had no consequences and most of them just were not that great but I think why this episode was so great for me was because we finally have a purpose in this season Alvin jr is the main plot now and where this season is finally trying to enforce as a plot so it's about time, and not only that but the death of Sarah was sad even though it wasn't executed that well, and getting to know Jane finally made an interesting character that Clementine could invest into, Their isn't a whole lot of flaws I could come up with this episode the flow is really good and more character development make this episode worth getting.
