I'm curious. Does this game at all follow in the footsteps of the apparently extensive graphic novel or comic books, or however you want to classify it? I'm not at all familiar with the stories except for the show, which is intriguing to say the least.
The other episodes are coming soon. I played this game. It's like REAL series. Example NCIS. Like that. Censorship is enabled but not on all scenes.
another pathetic , to say at least because of censorship, zombie games..bleah. A total waste of my time , just to look at.
@angelcar about 2,5 - 3 hours i believe ,was a great experience ,short but greatest ,in total should be around 15 hours of gameplay if the other episodes will be the same
It looks like another zombie game I played before, where youre a bum or something, the cellshading makes the otherwise bad graphics look okay, hopefully its a fun experience.
Played half of first episode just now and I have to say it"s really really good. Very similar gameplay to Back to the Future game but with some Heavy Rain mechanics mixed into it. It"s indeed very story driven and with amazing atmosphere. Plus the choices carry over to next episodes so I cant wait whats gonna happen next. Brilliant game.

This games does look good and the demo on PS3 is really good, but if the Xbox Live would get their act together and release The Walking Dead on the Xbox360 then I could play the game not the just the demo. The Walking Dead was supposed to be released on Xbox today(04/25/12), but for some stupid reason it isn't out yet. This game is out on PC and PS3, but Xbox Live lately sucks, and I have to wait because I don't have enough space on my PS3 hdd. Oh well, crap!
This game is great. I played it yesterday, and WOW it's impressive with storyline, and how the voice-over actors are. It's like Heavy Rain with the whole choices and letting it change the way the game plays out. Honestly, this game is really impressive. I was a bit meh, not my type of thing. But after getting a copy it was well worth it. I can't wait for the next episodes. Only bad thing is, each episode is once a month. >> Easy 8/10 title.

Some of Telltale's titles have some really great storylines and are fun to play, but they seriously need a new art team! Monkey Island and BTTF were ugly, but the visuals here are disgusting!
Just finished it today and I must say it was pretty amazing, but I have been waiting for this for ages now. I love seeing the few characters that are in the comics and can't wait for Episode 2 :)
@DarkLord, I'm with you on that. Some gameplay footage is all I need to see before getting this.
It looks cool, but the episodic nature of it is something of a misnomer as I don't seem able to buy just 'episode 1' but only the complete series (on the PC)... It would be much better if I could buy the first episode, and then if I decide I am happy with that, buy the rest later, as I've been able to do with other telltale games...
Wow, looks great & looks like it's going to draw me in emotionally. Felt sorry for that little boy that got bit in this trailer & seeing your character having to kill one of his family members... I think I'm gonna shed some tears while playing this game (yes I'm a big cry baby lol.)
@Gelugon_baat Actually all the video from this is in Episode 1. The games really entertaining and way better than I expected, definitely worth $5. They could have charged more and it still would have been worth it in my opinion.
Kinda surprised. I originally thought this was ganna end up like Telltale's other games. This one seems pretty straight as far as an interesting and involving story....now show us some gameplay! lol

Yeah, there is a lot less told about it.. But from the looks of it, seems like a good game. I'll wait a day for the review.
