The new age of point and click adventure games. A masterpiece of story telling.

This game is simply amazing. I never thought a game could be this surprising in a good way. The cartoonish graphics are very beautiful, the environment is vivid and seems genuine. It looks exactly how you would expect it to look and it feels the same. Facial expressions are good, and the voice acting is almost perfect. But all these aspects of the game are not what really make it great.
This is the first point-and-click-action adventure I ever played. Usually in point and click adventures there is no sense of danger and the seemingly static motion disconnect you from feeling the story. The Walking Dead manages to avoid that. In many situations you must act fast, dialogues give you little time to think what to say. Your decisions actually matter for. (I only finished the game once so I am not sure in what way the story will change if i choose to save a different person). The story is engaging and very dramatic. You are forced to choose between characters you like when zombies grab them both. And the game never ceases to surprise. Although I find zombie apocalypses very stupid (a decomposed chunk of flesh and bones will not magically reactivate itself and start walking... only by being ignorant of anatomy can someone believe that) i loved the story of this game. It is dramatic, sometimes tragic, and very engaging.

I really hope this will be the future of adventure games. Good story telling, simple but pleasant graphics, and little bits of action to get your interest.
