The Urbz is The Sims game for console gamers...

User Rating: 7.1 | The Urbz: Sims in the City PS2
When EA Games were making The Urbz: Sims In The City, they wanted it to appeal to console gamers, offering objectives, revenge missions and rewards. But EA didn't really implement this very well. You can just ignore the objectives and revenge missions. They don't really offer any rewards either, except new greetings and small suburbs. The talking system is the same used in The Sims. But the new purchase system can annoy. If you want to buy something, you must run down to town and purchase whatever you need. The Jobs also may annoy, being button-mashing mini-games. The Create-A-Urb system feels like a budget version of The Sims: Create-A-Sim. But, on the other hand The Urbz does do somethings right. It makes you feel like a young adult, trying to make a living and really has dug deep into the early-20's world. There are Air Bars and Skate Parks, Goth's and Millionaires. It all feels pretty real. Although there could be some better features: Buy a Car, a House and get married. EA has made a good effort, but not enough to be revoluntionary.
