The Thing really gives Resident Evil a run for its money here. A great game to pick up if your broke during summer.

The Thing picks up were the movie leaves off and tries to keep to the bone chilling atmosphere that the movie had with amazing success. The game looks great on both PS2 and XBOX but surprisingly not as good on the PC, which is weird. The team system is great addition for this game, it really makes it feel like the movie and keeps you on your toes when you have to face the team members when they turn into the monsters. The boss fights are intense and difficult and leave you feeling good after you take them down. The combat in this game is constant and well done. Some of the fights take a long time and some of the puzzles can be frustrating. The game starts off fast then becomes insanely difficult. Other than the mediocre ending, game is a great bargain bin find for a budget gamer.
