I'll be honest with you, I have no idea how to explain this game to you. I guess it's kinda like Portal. Anyway, the first thing you need to know is that there is almost no real gameplay in the game. It all boils down to exploration, the hilarious story and making decisions. Let's talk about the story. You play as Stanley. Stanley is just a regular Joe and his job is to press buttons. That's literally his job. Pressing buttons. The screen tells him to press a button and he does it. What an amazingly exciting job that is. One day, Stanley's world is shook. He came to work and the screen said nothing. Poor Stanley doesn't know which buttons to press. He was sitting there in shock for an hour, not knowing what to do. He decides to leave his office and find out what's going on. But holy cow! There is nobody there! The building is empty! Well shiver me timbers, what the heck is going on?! The whole story is being told by a narrator who tells you stuff while you walk around confused. But the thing is, he tells you stuff before you do them. For an example, you're in a corridor and there are two doors. The narrator says ''Stanley walked through the left door.'' So you see the whole point. You can be a good little boy and listen to him or you can be your own man and go right. The number of possibilities and ''endings'' is amazingly spectacular. I cannot recommend this game enough to you. You need to buy it. I don't know how to prove it to you, because honestly, I have no idea how to explain this game to you. I guess it's kinda like Portal.
