Nothing like the TV show with all love.

User Rating: 4.2 | The Sopranos: Road to Respect PS2
I have always loved Mafia games or movies for as long as I can remember, I thought that the Godfather game was a great game that had some great moments to it. To Mafia the game that would have been great if it would not have had so many damn loading screens to it. I heard that they were making a Sopranos game I was a little excited about it hoping it would be as good as the series on HBO. But after a few minutes of game play you begin to realize that if they had actually sent time to make this game it would have become and been a greater and more fun game.

The game starts off that you run into Tony after you stole a pursue out of a car, Tony being angry and disgusted in your antic’s offer you a position as a small time muscle for the family. Cut to the next scene inside the Bada Bing strip club, now if you were hoping the game would have some T&A content in it well it does provide that. Now the real game play is to start, you learn that you are going to work for Paulie as a soldier and do whatever he says. The game is not based on sandbox style at all, meaning it is not like Mafia or Godfather were you can explore the land and all the content of the environment. The game acts like a first edition game, meaning there is no depths in the development of the game like someone design it in their spare time. The back of the jacket says earn your cut well it seems like the easiest thing to do all you need to do is run around beat up some people and pick up all the loot laying around the area. The money is the game is used for nothing at all, meaning you do not upgrade any skill points or buy anything of value expect in game artwork that is not worth it at all. See normally if you are to collect money or something of value in the game you would expect that you would use it to in some way interact with the game meaning to upgrade or buy weapons to use, but that is not the case for this game it is just useless the only aspect of the game that would be fun is the poker you get to play with the whole gang.

Actually the only part of the game that is worth anything is the poker and the looking at strippers of the pole in the Bada Bing club that is it. This game is the second game that I have played and found to be a disappointment, I am looking forward to Vice City Stories for the PS2 and Def Jam Icon and Godfather Don’s Edition at least I know I will enjoy them more than this game was.

I rate this game about 5 out of 10, this game is just a rental at best, I mean I beat the whole in about five hours or less not worth 30 dollars at all.
