Innovative, even if not very appealing

User Rating: 7 | The Sims: Superstar PC
Superstar is actually like a breeze of fresh air into The Sims series even though, personally, I did not find the theme very appealing. Aside from the usual expansion of the number of purchasable items (some of them outrageously expensive), Superstar brings the ability to follow your Sims to work in the newly added "fame" career path. This will involve either modelling, acting or music. Yes, no luck seeing the Sims into the lab or classroom, sadly.

Prepare yourself for hoarding fame and connecting with other famous people all the while trying to maintain the Sims' needs fulfilled. Add in the occasional paparazzi and stalker and you've got a challenging mix to juggle, which will keep you occupied for quite some time.

Sometimes however, the fame career path feels a tad too challenging, bordering on frustrating. Twice so, considering that the annoying path-finding wasn't improved upon a bit.

Bottom line: for The Sims AND The American Idol fans only.
