The Sims Cheat Codes
1000 Sim Dollars
At the Cheat Box, enter klapaucius.Bring up the Cheat Box
At any poing during the game, press Alt, C, Shift, and Control. The Cheat Box should appear in the upper-left hand corner of the screen. Enter your code, and press Enter when you are finished.Show Different Character's Interests
At the Cheat Box, enter interests.Disable all Frames
At the Cheat Box, enter draw_all_frames_off.Enable all Frames
At the Cheat Box, enter draw_all_frames_on.Set the Rate of the Grass Growth

On the bar on the bottom of the screen, there are the Sim's faces. If you watch their needs when you rapidly click their faces, the needs wont decrease that much. The little red arrow that indicates that the Sim needs that need more will come quickly then leave right away. This works effectively but you cant really do anything while your clicking.1000 Sim Dollars (PATCHED VERSION)
If you have The Sims v. 1.1 or the 'klapaucius' code doesn't work, the code to get 1000 Simoleans is:
'rosebud' without the quotes. Type in ';!' w/out quotes as many times after that as you want to get more money, each '!' is worth 1000 simoleans. So,
rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!
is worth 12,000 Simoleans.Set IQ or free thinking level
Type autonomy (1-1000)at the cheat window.Changes the time in the game
Type set_hour <1-24> at the cheat window.Lots of Quick Cash
Go to the cheat menu and type in the code for 1000 simoleons (klapaucius, or rosebud for the patched version). Press enter. Go to the cheat menu again, and fill it up with !;!;!;!... etc. When it's full, delete the last ! and put some other character in there instead. Weight down the enter key with something, such as a paperweight or fork. The window will pop up to tell you that there's no such code, but it will still give you 1000 simoleons for every ! still there, and your weight will make the box go away and continue to give you lots of money. Go away, and do something else for awhile. When you return, you'll be filthy stinking rich. Be warned, though. If you do this for too long, your funds will go into the negatives.Information about a tile
If you type ''tile_information on'' (without quotes) then when you mouse arrow is over a tile, information about that tile pops up. To turn it off, simply replace on with off.Map Edit

The Sims Secrets
Unlimited rosebud entries
This code will allow you to input the rosebud code as many times as you want without having to retype it. To perform this type in rosebud in the cheat menu and add as many !;!;! as you want, but then at the end make a mistake like a 1 instead of a ! and you will get all the money from the other ! but not have to retype it over and over. So instead of rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;! input rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;1 then just continue to press enter as many times as wanted.Set Specific Speed of Gameplay
During gameplay, press Ctrl+Shift+C to bring up the cheat menu. Enter 'sim_speed XXXX' but replace "XXXX" with a number between -1000 and 1000. -1000 slows the game down the most. 1000 speeds the game up so much that it won't show changes in your Sims' status bars. To deactivate the cheat, press '1,' '2,' or '3' or select one of the three speeds. Pausing won't deactive it.Automatic Trash cleaning
To empty trash cans without having a maid or manually emptying it, just sell it and buy a new one. This won't cost you any money, since the value of a used trash can stays the same.Save Room
If you build a balcony, you may delete the pillars under it, saving space on the first floor.Import Your Own .MP3 To The Sims Radio
Okay, first of all, you are going to need a .mp3 sound file that you want to import into The Sims. Once you have one, copy the file and paste to this folder: (Assuming you installed the game in the C Drive, the directory is C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Music\Station\Rock\) So you should have your .mp3 sound file here: C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\Music\Station\Rock\. Start The Sims, buy a radio if you don't already have one, turn the station to rock, wait a couple of seconds and listen to your favorite tune. Note: Where it says Rock in the directory, you don't have to put it in Rock, you can put it into any other station such a Country or Latin.
The Sims Glitches
Full Green Bars
First bring up the cheat window, then type in the ''move_objects on'' code. Now, save the game, and when that's done, any time you want to regenerate happy fully-green-bar sims, pause the game, select them and delete them. Now press play, and click on thier heads, and they should pop up somewhere, with all of thier bars fully green. PLEASE NOTE-if you are working on their skills like charisma and whatnot, you MUST save the game BEFORE deleting them! If you do not save the game, they will appear again as if you restarted the game, and thier skills will be lost!!Give your Sims a bunch of skill points effortlessly
When in Create-A-Sim mode, create a child with no personality points and name them something like 'M'. Now edit the child Sim you just made and turn them into an adult, re-name them anything you like and make them look anyway you want them to. You can also give them personality points now. Create the family and once you move them into a lot, look at their skills. You'll see they'll have a bunch of random skill points you'd normally have to work for.Avoid Paying Bills
You'll need to have enough money to pay the bill first.If you don't want to pay a bill (e.g. It'll leave you with next to nothing, or you just plain don't want to), then have a Sim pick up the bill and proceed to pay it. But before they reach the mail box to pay it, go into Buy Mode and buy until you don't have enough to cover the bill (e.g. if the bill is §800, then buy until you have §799 or less). Then go back to Live Mode. The Sim will go to the mail box and pay the bill, but you won't have lost any money. Then just go back into Buy Mode and sell back what you just bought. Being the same day, you'll get all your money back.

To get to the cheat menu, at the main menu screen Simultaneously press all four of the shoulder buttons. In order to get this unlockable, you must greet and feed Bobo the Bum. He doesn't come up to your door by himself, but on stages 3-5, he will walk down your neighborhood a few times a day. With your main Sim, greet Bobo. then, use Feed. Then, you'll pay 20 simoleons to give Bobo a meal and unlock The Park.
The Sims Easter Eggs
Make Aromaster Whifferpuff "Gold" last longer.
When in neiborhood mode, if you turn on a Whifferpuff, and evict the person and then join again. The Whifferpuff will still be on and it will last longer.The Sims CAMEO
Buy any computer and choose"play". Zoom in close to the computer or better yet put in the first person code and look at the monitor. You will see that your sim is actually playing the original Sims for the computer!Always-On-Duty Monkey Butler
This glitch, or cheat, or whatever you would like to refer to it as, I found very useful. This glitch will involve, 'Meet Major Domo!{$15,000} ', a light (one that hangs from the wall, not on the floor){$85, $110, $135} , and anything that will fit under the light{?} . Now, I did this in the bathroom with a sink and a 'Blue Plate Special Sconce' light {$135}. Buy 'Meet Major Domo!' but don't release him yet. Place the wall light fixture over the other item, and wait for the light to burn out, (or you can put lot of lights over a lot of other items and wait for one of them to burn out). Then, release the monkey butler, he will clean up everything, fix everything, then he will go to the light hanging on the wall, but he won't be able to reach it because of the item on the floor, which blocks his way. So he will stay there trying to figure out how to get to the light, but, as long as you don't move the item under the light, or the light itself, he will stay there. And as soon as something else needs to be fixed or cleaned up, he'll do it. Although this may cause traffic jams when you try and get into the room, I found this glitch very rewarding.
The Sims Secrets
Get abducted to increase stats!
Just purchase the telescope and after looking through it for a long time you will be abducted by aliens. If your children get abducted their grades will go up!! When you are returned to earth you your stats will have been rearranged and have been incresed!!Secret sand sculptures
In order to do this trick, please do the following:
1. Go to buy mode and buy the beach simulator under the misc. menu.
2. Place anywhere and let a child make a pile.
3. After making a big pile, choose 'kick'
4. This will unlock a new sand sculpture.If you want more unique sculptures, such as castles and turtles, make a big pile again and choose 'kick'
The Sims Glitches
Easy Money
Build a wall and put wallpaper on one side and leave the other side blank. Then select the wallpaper as if you were going to sell it. Switch over to the other side of the wall and sell that. You'll get the money for the wallpaper selected and it will still be there so you can keep selling the wallpaper.

Get More Money From Phone Calls
You need to be playing with a friend for this to work. Make two identical bedrooms with a phone in each one, make sure the phone is the same distance from the bed in each one. When you go to sleep, if the phone rings both your sims will be woken up, both select the phone and go to answer. If you both get to the phone at the same time, then you'll both answer it and you'll get 2 messages. Hopefully, one of them will give you money or maybe even both.

The Sims Glitches
Free monkey butler
To do this glitch you must first have a blown out light a meet major domo item and 20 simoleons total cost about 15,120 simoleons. First make a mess and then hire the monkey butler and as soon as he goes for the blown out light put a item in front of it so he can't get to it. Now as long as you do not put the item anywhere else the butler will wait and as soon as another mess is made he'll clean it , repair it or enertain your party guests better then the maid.Fill motives
To fill your motives and skip a day of work, simply evict your family from the house then move them back in. When you go to play this house again your sims will have full motive bars and get a day off work
