It looks like it would be fun for a couple playthroughs, but not much beyond that. With the game progressing in a linear fashion and not down generational lines, there can only a couple ways to play before you know what will happen.
This feels like what EA did to SimCity. They are, again, going "off-track" on the The Sims idea. If they are trying to turn this franchise into a RPG, better remember they are also releasing Dragon Age 2 on march.
Im just wondering if the game will have a more RPG based leveling system for knights and mages and etc or will it be something simpler. I guess you could call career tracks in the sims games an RPG element but I would prefer something more robust.
I've never really cared for sims games. They have interesting idea but it's just not my thing but this looks really promising, looks like a must buy for me.
I think this will be very funny game and with lots of game play added to it regarding the empire and adventures etc .... deffently getting it and the elder scrolls v : SkyRim
