A Waste of Time and Money

As a longtime Sims player I was really looking forward to this game. I even pre-ordered the title which I have never done before. The first time I played it I didn't have allot of time so I thought I'd do the tutorial. I found out that you really need to spend some serious time and attention to even get through this part of the game. I gave up and had to repeat it two more times till I got past this part! From then on it was all downhill. The game-play is not at all intuitive and the goals boring. You are VERY restricted in where you can explore and they are probably going to force gamers to buy add-ons later just to make this playable. To go to the "town" you click on a sign, walk straight ahead and a list of items shows up. There is no town, barely a castle (6 rooms) or anything else.. I did love the artwork but was very disappointed in everything else. I will have to think long and hard about buying another Sims game in the future.
