Previous sims were more interesting.

In this game you start as a king or queen and do a series of quests to get enough points to unlock new buildings. Some of these require a hero to run the business like blacksmith, spy, merchant, warrior, priest, etc. So you create another sim or hero. Actually I didnt get why call the sims "heroes" since merchants and other "heroes" doesnt do anything heroic in this game.

Some quests allow you to use only the designated hero for it, others let you choose the hero you want and sometimes more than a hero.

While you are doing a quest with the designated hero(es), all the other heroes you was controlling in your previous quests will become computer controled. That wasnt a good idea since there are many quests you cant complete with your favourite character.

There is no more forced needs to bathing/toilet in this game with I believe was cool. At this time you just need to eat and sleep.

The problem with the game is that it is the most linear sims game I ever saw. The other games allows you to do whatever you want at the time you want with no serious consequences but getting poor or a bit sick.

In this game if you do anything different that the game script wants, you are seriously penalized. I feel like the game designer is holding my had from the beginning to the end of the quest.

If you tought like me that this would be a sims game you would create a warrior or wizard and fight creatures to get stronger, more agile, get new spells for doing so, and become your village hero you are seriously mistaken.

I dont recomend it unless you are a big fan of the series. At least I can guarantee that Sims 3 is much better that Sims: Medieval.

Will be playing it a bit more to see if it gets a bit better but I dont believe it will happen.
