It's not a bad game, but it's not a good sim game either. because you can't buy lot or build new house either.
the fact that the game remove all it's creative building features.. and all the open ended feel of sims 3.it's just doesn't have the same magic of sims 3. i actually hate the doll house style and camera problem of this game.
there is no meaning to earning more money or building family. because you can't buy an new house or bigger lot. only customize the furniture of the existing stronghold. kids don't grow up either. when the game is finish.. it's finish. you unlocked free mode. but free mode sucks. hero level and achievement locked.
This game is not sims 3. the quest only fun for the first few times. but it becomes a mandane boring task later. mostly ask you to go from one place to another back and forth from your home to village to forest or cave. but these places are rabbit holes. your hero also going to die for igonoring a quest too long which actually gives a lot of pressure to players.
it's actually more fun running around in sims 3 world adventure rather than repeating these quest. at least you have 3 countries to travel in sims 3 WA. but here in medieval.. you only have one tiny kingdom with 3 or 4 rabbit holes. they should at least add 2 more kingdoms.
I hope the expansion for this game will add more features.. if there will be an actual expansion that is.
