The Sims: Livin' Large First Impression
America's favorite people simulator is getting an expansion pack that boasts a number of new additions guaranteed to extend the game's life span.
One of this year's best-selling PC games is getting an expansion pack. Maxis' people simulator, The Sims, will be expanded later this year when Livin' Large releases. The add-on features five new career tracks, three new interior-decor styles, and a number of new gameplay quirks such as UFO abductions and roach infestations.
The five new careers are musician, slacker, paranormal specialist, journalist, and hacker. Each of these has a number of different rungs that can be attained the longer you maintain your Sim. For instance, if you opt to enter the field of journalism, you'll start out as a games reviewer, and then move up to a weatherman, and then a talk show host. Other new features include three new interior styles. They are castle, which is perfect for those who prefer a creepy ambience; Vegas, for that tacky bachelor pad look; and retro, which is a revival of the 1950s and 60s chic ornamentation.
The Sims: Livin' Large will be available this fall.
