Though you may not just want to buy it for the laptop friendly reason, If you don't already have the sims get it.

Most People of course are getting it for the laptop friendly part as am I. Though I was just getting it for the Laptop I really think the Story mode adds a new level of fun to the PC version since it has never been placed in a PC version before.

If you have never played the Sims before it is a Life Simulator, where you can create your own people and make them live from birth to death or any time between.

The Story Mode adds:

Riley - A woman who has moved away but now she is returning to a town called Four Corners, only to find one of her old flames has recently moved back as well.

Vince - After finishing Ch 3 of Riley's story you unlock Vince's. Vince's is a tech wiz eho has always chosen the wrong woman now he is looking for a woman who will love him for him not his vast fortune.

If your new to the Sims or a seasoned veteran looking towards the new story mode I would recommend getting this game.
