GTA:III might be the most revolutionary game to date. The atmosphere of the game brings you in. The story in the game is great. You are recruited by the Mafia and along the way you do missions for other people as well. The sound and voice acting is great although the main character doesn't say a word, evidently he doesn't have a name either. The gameplay is just as good. The game is free-roaming so you can have as much as you want collecting hidden packages, cruising around or just causing pure mayhem. The only part of the game where it chokes is the graphics. There are many rough edges and the character/ building design is passable at best but the other points in the game make up for it.
