Pros:Emotions are intersting and the multitasking feature is great.The Sims 4 runs very smoothly unlike The Sims 3 which took half a day to load and it frequently crashed or froze.The social aspect has improved alot in The Sims 4.Create a sim has improved a little and build mode is fantastic.You can adjust wall height and you can place windows at different heights.You can get pre made rooms in build mode and you can pick up the entire lot which is pretty handy if you make a mistake.You don't have to exit the game to open up the store.It can be opened up ingame.You can increase the size of objects to any height which can be pretty funny.You can have a toilet bigger then your lot if you want.Repo man is gone yay!
Cons:No pools for us to drown are sims in.No toddlers which makes the jump from baby to child a bit weird.No create a style which was a great feature in The Sims 3.No open world.No terrain tools so the world is basically flat.There is no story progression for your neighbours.Can't place new lots.Bland world map.Lots of loading screens.The lovely scenery in the backround is not really their.Lot size is limited to 50X50.No aliens,babysitters,cars,bookstores,grocery stores,cemeteries or restaurants.There are no police.Who will stop burglars you may ask? Don't worry their are no burglars! We don't even get repairmen so I guess we'll just have to fix are own stuff.No ghosts....yep.No newspapers.No bikes.No dishwashers.No god damn hot tubs! No basements for my sims to slowly die in.The list goes on and on.
Conclusion:The Sims 4 has barely any content from previous sims games.It does have some good stuff like emotions and multitasking but the cons outweigh the pros.The Sims 4 ranges from €50.00 to €60.00 and the collectors edition costs €100.Is it worth it?No it is not worth it.A sequel is supposed to improve and add not strip away everything.EA does not care about us gamers.EA has ruined Command and Conquer,SimCity,Plants vs Zombies,Spore and Battlefield.Please do not buy this game and give EA any more money.The Sims 4 will most likely get expansion packs like The Sims 4 Pools expansion pack.But seriously EA needs to die.I suggest you should all stick to The Sims 2 or 3.
