The Sims 2, brought to the Mac by Aspyr, is an excellent game to pass the time. When fully enabled, the graphics are stunning and take full advantage of the capabilities of the Mac.
My only qualm is it's quite the memory hog, and bogs down my Powerbook G4 to an abysmal frame rate. I still play it on occassion but have to limit my graphic options and detail level, as well as lot size and items in a house to keep the game playable. I've contacted Aspyr for a patch; they explained the game was designed to take advantage of the PowerMac G4-G5 models capabilities to run the smoothest. In other words, there isn't a patch available for mobile users. If you're considering this game and have a Powerbook or older Mac, forget it. If you have a newer PowerMac G4 or G5 and the Apple cinema display...well, just be sure to eat and go to the bathroom at least as often as your sims do!
Oh well, I guess I'll get it for my PSP...my score reflects how I have to play it for now

Same great game as the PC version, but like it, you MUST HAVE THE MOST POWERFUL GRAPHICS CARD ON THE MARKET TO RUN
