A good expansion pack like the others
History:
The Sims 2: University is the first expansion pack for The Sims 2 developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on March 1, 2005. The expansion pack allows the player's Sims to become Young Adults and go to University.
Game play:
No differences only you can make a university campus (neighbor) but you can't edit dorms other things are editable you can just place dorms from special lots. Watch you're Sims activity carefully because they can have very bad or very good memories. Just study and gain skills (the main article). It also added a young adult stage of life to the game that are divided to freshman year, sophomore year, junior year and senior year that all of them have a midterm and final that you must study for them.
New things:
College education
First you must choose you're subject there are:
Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Political science, Psychology, Art, Biology, Drama, Economics, History and Literature
You must pass the semester to graduate from university. You can study by writing a term paper or doing a research or doing assignments (you can also help others with their assignments too but FOR MONEY).
If you fail an exam well … you have another chance but if you fail again …kicked out!!!
Wants and fear (aspiration)
If you pass terms you can increase you're wants chart for about two houses and you can also change you're personality. You also have a family rewards that can give you special abilities like second personality
Money and finance of students:
Completely poor 500 Simoleons…start with dorms and if you take a part time job you can rent a house too.
Secret societies
Some NPC students are members of a secret society. These NPC characters are made known by their attire, which consists of the llama jacket and accompanying hat. A Sim who befriends three members gets abducted to the secret society headquarters, which contains luxury furnishing and exclusive reward objects such as counterfeit Simoleons and a machine which allows the player to restructure his or her Sims's facial features. Also, when a Sims is inducted into a Secret Society, the "Hack Grades" interaction is made available on all computers for that Sims, which allows them to increase their grade level with minimal effort. However, according to a Sims's logic skill, there is a chance that school IT&S security will be tripped resulting in a visit from law enforcement, confiscation of the computer, a hefty fine and forfeiture of all grade points gained while hacking.
Career rewards and zombies ( I call it evil deeds)
You know what career a reward is …
You can buy a cow that eats people and gives you milk (it increases you're like)
And you can bring dead back to life with a ….am …a…phone…you call grim reaper with it
