The Sims 2 on the DS...entertaining. Not at all like the PC game, but I like this one more.

Sims 2 on the DS is pretty neat. It uses your Dual Screen's clock so they'll say "bury this in the desert at night", so you go at night in real-life. And it knows days of the week, like "I'll stay at the hotel until Tuesday".

The gameplay is rather simple, but touch screen minigames split things up.

Oh yeah, hotel. You are thrown into manager duty at the Strangetown Hotel and you'll do chores for some story characters, as well as check in other guests and add on to your hotel. It's pretty random and weird, which is cool. You should wait 'till the Mighty Bovine against Undead Mummy part.

I applaud this one for going 3D. It bugged me in URBZ that the DS version was the exact same as the GBA version. It was kinda URBZ 1/2 or something. This time on the DS you run the hotel, the GBA one has something to do with a TV show, the PS2, Xbox and GC are one version, the PSP one is another, the cell version is another, and the PC version is the only real life sim. The others have more tasks to do instead of being god and running peoples lives. I know you're probably cornfused, but 2+Dora the Explorer-Fishsticks=Ham.

The sound is the same old "meemahoway" and "yabaguchia" and other neat stuffs. You can make your ringtones (for your in-game cell phone) and music to play in the hotel.

There's lots of cool stuff to do in Sims 2 DS. You can go wireless and trade music, pictures (you draw in the game), and play Keelhaulin' together.

Sims 2 DS isn't like the PC version we love, but it is still very neat. The DS clock thing is cool, but it keeps you from playing for hours at a time like I did with URBZ and Bustin' Out because "your new room should be built in 8 hours". Whatever. Now I kinda want the GBA version. Not great gameplay, graphics, or sound but still is worth a try if you enjoyed URBZ: Wannabe Gangstas in the Suburbs (It was still fun) or Bustin' Out.
