A Decent Game To Say The Least, Lacks Some Important Things, Gameplay Is Fun!

User Rating: 6.2 | The Sims 2: Pets GBA
I bought a gba just after Xmas 06, (a late boomer) and bought this game i hadnt played previous Sims games, for the gba, and only own a pc version of the original Sims. I started playing the game and i thought " What is this? Just a Sim of Real Life, with a four-legged mutt running around?" but after printing off the only availible FAQ online I realized, "there is a decent storyline here." It might take you a while though, to continue through each "story" which is just the same world, character has something to say, you must have completed certain tasks and have practised certain skills. This can be fun some times, and others just frustrating. The main problem is, though you are not supposed to finish after 4 hours, it might take you almost 4 weeks (sim time, 2-4 minutes =a day) just to get something done.

The Good:Fun Gameplay, Decent Storyline, Good Music, Characters are well-defined, and Sim Pets learn well if you reward them, pet, praise. (as such in Black and White 1&2 for the PC) The Bad: Occaisonal glitches, long story transitions, some choppy graphics.
May not be worth retail selling price ($19.99CAN)

If you are looking for a decent game that will occupy your attention for quite a few hours, this is a better choice for you then Cats, Dogz, etc, but if you are looking for the next best DS/GBA port of the Sims, well, to put it bluntly, IT AINT HERE!
