THE REVIEW
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't buy this game. I don't even remember playing it. It was just a few weeks ago when I found it in my old PS2 stash that I was going to throw out and tried it once more. I felt like crying - it really brought back the memories of when the Simpsons were good.
OK, so it starts off like this: a tutorial, duh. It's just the sheer brilliance of Bart Simpson harrassing Homer while giving the tutorial that makes me want to cry. It was, perhaps, the best Simpsons game ever.
First of all, the driving experience is ... wonderful. It's not just the simulation of how real it feels, but also the hilarious voice-overs from previous ingenious shows like "I am evil Homer, I am evil Homer" and "Oooh, the vibrations are tickling my feet" that make it sooooooo addictive.
Who couldn't love this game? If you don't, you have to hate the Simpsons altogether which, up until now, I truly did. I mean, yes, the early shows were so amazing but now it's terrible. It's this game that comforts you that the genius once was.
A lot of people have this game, but if you don't, where have you been?
