Oh my lord, how bad does this game look?! No wonder the CEO of SOE steped down. This looks like a average game from the 90s, think a PS1 game before companys started taking storyline and visuals seriously.

I smell share prices falling :P.

"chills you to the bone"    its chillingly un scary.  the visuals are as dark and visceral as pokemon and the context/ production values are akin to a cheap teen horror flick.  this must be what Kevin is referring to when he says it is humorous.

i do like the departure from traditional Mmorpgs by changing the way quests are handled. that sounds interesting. Basically the less like WOW this is, the more interesting itll be,

Scariest thing to me was VanOrd's voice for some reason.  He's talking about a scary place but kept using weird inflections and was distracting.  I'm not sure what I think of the game, I'll have to look at more video's and gameplay footage.

@Mr_Utruni i enjoy the game so far it have a story tht u can care abt and quests arnt boring the quests r fun, give it a try, combat is above average but the customization flexibility is wat makes its combat shine

its the new england of h.p. lovecraft not steven king, the entire kingsmouth area is based on the cthulu mythos, i dunno where you got steven king from.

The title is wrong. The name of the game is "The Secret World" not "The Secret War".

Great game tho:) Can't wait to play it:D

@G555 If it was wrong it looks like someone fixed it. The dungeon is called "The Darkness War."

questing in this game is even more fun than GW2 but at lest these 2 mmos are different from the rest.

i had enough of the typical kill x this kill x that.

@Albaficas agreed! any more mmos that require grinding to progress i sure wont be buying.

@Epicurus-Reborn grinding for loot and riches is the only point of an MMO.  if you want story and questing, play non-mmo rpg.  how could anyone say they are possibly into the story of an MMO.  it takes months, and even years to reveal an mmo's story.  you could have read a 100 books in that time, or watched a 1,000 movies in that time, all with way better written and imagined stories.  the story just pacifies your grind.  the amount of content required to keep the pace of the story up, for months of play time, would be astronomical.  MMO's get paid by the month, so the last thing they want you to is enjoy the story.  they want to make it take as long as possible for you to "hear" the story.  that contradicts many ideals of good story telling.
