First time Monkey Island player. I Will defiantly be playing the others.

This game completely Blew away all of my expectations. I've never played any of the monkey island series before and on a whim I decided to try the first one on the xbox. At first I was a bit reluctant to play it fearing I just wasted money but one evening I decided to play it for as long as I could and I was immensely impressed. The gameplay was brilliant, the controls took only a very short time to get to grasps with and the story was interesting enough to keep me captive for the entire game. The part of the game that shone the brightest was the dialogue most of the lines had me in stitches and the game didn't take itself too seriously and results in some of the quirkiest things I've seen in a game for a long time indeed. Overall I'd say it's defiantly worth the 1200 Microsoft points and if you're wondering whether it's worth it, go on and give it a whirl! Chances are you'll be pleasantly surprised.
